ACRS opened our doors in 1973 through the efforts of community volunteers. We remain a community-driven organization to this day, and we are grateful for the support of more than 1,000 volunteers each year who help us deliver more services to a greater number of people in their preferred languages than ever.
WAYS TO HELP
ONE-TIME VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Don’t have the time to commit to volunteering on an ongoing basis? That’s ok. We have many opportunities where you can jump right in and make a difference. Depending on the time of year, these activities could include supporting one of our major events, helping to get out the vote (GOTV), lending a hand at our food bank or community farm and more.
GETTING STARTED

2. Complete the corresponding volunteer signup or application
3. Submit Release of Liability Waiver for any in-person volunteer role
ONGOING OPPORTUNITIES
Our long-term volunteers provide invaluable support for ACRS operations. They typically involve a 3- or 6-month commitment.

3. Undergo volunteer orientation within three weeks (sign up here).
4. Screening and volunteer specific training will be carried out and vary per volunteer role
