SEATTLE COMMUNITY FARM

The Seattle Community Farm is a site for healing, growth and community. The farm grows culturally familiar and relevant food for the Asian, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community such as daikon, radishes, Chinese Cabbage and more. Much of the food harvested is delivered to the ACRS Food Bank and Club Bamboo. Many of the rows are also set aside for clients to grow their own food as well. In 2022, over 3,000 pounds of food were grown at the Seattle Community Farm. ACRS has managed the community farm since 2018 and is supported in it’s effort by the community.

The farm is a 7 minute walk from from ACRS’ main facility on the corners of Martin Luther King Junior Way S., and S. Lilac street in Rainier Valley (click here for directions).

Volunteering

The Seattle Community Farm is supported in large part by community farms who help with weeding, tilling, planting, harvesting and upkeep of the farm under the guise of ACRS’ Farm Coordinator. Visit www.bit.ly/ACRSFARMSHIFTS to learn more about volunteering and sign up for an upcoming shift or email volunteer@acrs.org.

Contact ACRS’ Farm Coordinator at farm@acrs.org for all other inquiries.
