LEGAL CLINIC
ACRS partners with the King County Bar Association (KCBA) and the Asian Bar Association of Washington (ABAW) to offer a free legal clinic at ACRS.
The clinic is part of KCBA’s Neighborhood Legal Clinics (NLC) program, which provides free, limited legal advice and referrals to King County residents and individuals with legal issues in King County who may otherwise have difficulty accessing legal help. The program is designed to reduce barriers related to income, language, education, or disability.
The ACRS Legal Clinic continues a long legacy of community-based legal access at ACRS. After a hiatus during the pandemic, the clinic relaunched in fall 2025 to help meet growing community need. Volunteer attorneys provide one-on-one consultations on a range of civil legal issues, including housing, family, and consumer concerns. While the clinic does not directly handle immigration cases, staff can help connect clients to trusted immigration legal resources.
Interpretation is available free of charge through ACRS.
