Support for Job-Seekers

  • New job-seeker orientation, every Tuesday at 2 p.m. at ACRS
  • Employment case management
  • Job club (weekly)
  • Job readiness training (four afternoon classes, every other week)
  • Basic Computer class (quarterly throughout the year)
  • Vocational ESL (customized training for specific fields, like hospitality)
  • Ready to Work ESL (levels 1-3) + digital literacy

Services Include:

  • Career planning
  • Guidance for laid-off workers
  • Job leads
  • Job search assistance and placement
  • Coaching to adjust to and keep a new job
  • Skills training through local colleges

Partnering with Employers

ACRS works with many area employers to recruit reliable workers and design custom workplace training programs. Employers may send job postings to employmentprogram@acrs.org.
