Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) provides a website: acrs.org.

The website allows users to view information about ACRS’s services, donation and volunteer opportunities, news, and events.

This Privacy Policy applies to acrs.org and SMS text messaging services offered by ACRS. It describes how ACRS collects, uses, and protects personal information, as well as the choices available to users regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of their information.

ACRS does not collect personal health information through its website. Clients seeking health services are directed to contact ACRS staff via phone or email for intake.

ACRS does not collect phone numbers for SMS texting through its website. Instead, phone numbers are collected by ACRS staff during interactions with clients, donors, and volunteers, and are then manually entered into the SMS system.

ACRS is committed to protecting the privacy of users of acrs.org and its SMS text services and will use and disclose personal information only as outlined in this Privacy Statement.

ACRS does not collect or store personal health information on its website. All inquiries related to health services are directed to staff via phone or email for intake and follow-up. 

ACRS collects donor information through a third-party platform, Classy, when users make donations. This third-party service may collect personal and payment information to process donations securely. Please review Classy’s privacy policy for details on their data handling practices. 

ACRS does not sell or rent personal information about website visitors. 

SMS Privacy Policy 

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you elect to sign up for text message alerts from ACRS, you agree to receive informational messages (appointment reminders, account notifications, etc.) from us. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.” Emails, voice messages, and SMS text messaging.
