PROBLEM GAMBLING TREATMENT
Problem Gambling—also called Gambling Disorder—can profoundly affect an individual’s mental health, finances, and relationships. It often leads to emotional distress, financial hardship, and strained family dynamics. Loved ones are frequently impacted as well, experiencing stress, mistrust, and economic challenges.
At ACRS, our Problem Gambling Treatment Program is designed to provide comprehensive, culturally responsive care that addresses the unique needs of individuals and families affected by gambling. We combine education, prevention, and outpatient treatment services to support recovery and long-term well-being.
Our services include:
- Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis – Confidential screening and evaluation for Gambling Disorder and substance use conditions.
- Free of charge counseling– Individual, family, and group therapy tailored to cultural, linguistic, and financial needs.
- Education & Prevention – Community-based workshops and outreach to raise awareness of gambling risks.
- Family Support Services – Counseling and educational resources for spouses, partners, and significant others affected by a loved one’s gambling.
- Recovery-Oriented Approach – Strategies to reduce gambling-related harm, rebuild financial stability, and strengthen social support systems.
