ADULT MENTAL HEALTH
Each of us is a holistic being of mind, body and spirit. Mental health is how we think, feel and act when faced with life’s situations. It is how we look at ourselves and the other people in our lives, evaluate our challenges and problems, and explore choices. It also affects how we handle stress, relate to other people and make decisions.
Mental health problems are real, and not just a passing phase. They affect our thoughts, bodies, feelings, and behavior. They can be severe, seriously interfere with a person’s life, and even cause a person to become disabled. But with quality mental health treatment, we are able get better and can lead happy and healthy lives.
ACRS provides comprehensive mental health services to promote whole health by addressing physical, mental and social well-being. Our team of skilled, compassionate, bilingual and bicultural, licensed case managers and psychiatric staff partner with clients to meet unique needs and goals. Services may include case management, individual, group and family therapy and counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, supported employment, housing assistance, wellness and day activity programs, acupuncture and other Eastern approaches to wellness.
