CLUB BAMBOO SENIOR CENTER

The Club Bamboo Senior Center provides a safe and welcoming space for Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (A&NH/PI ) and other adults aged 55 and older to connect with others and access services that support their physical, social, and emotional well-being. The center offers a wide range of culturally and linguistically accessible programs and activities, both in person and virtually. These include evidence-based and evidence-informed programs, social gatherings, wellness classes, and familiar cultural activities that promote community engagement and reduce isolation among seniors.

Every Monday through Friday, the Club Bamboo kitchen offers nutritious, locally sourced meals designed to appeal to A&NH/PI palates. The center also sponsors culturally rooted physical activities such as yoga and tai chi. Additionally, Club Bamboo provides supportive social activities such as ballroom dance, line dance, art class, and civic engagement workshops, as well as access to job training, housing assistance, English language classes, and bilingual services. See the schedule below for current classes offered.

Volunteers are welcome to support ACRS kitchen staff by helping prepare meals or serving food to community members.
