OUR MISSION
Our Mission
ACRS, grounded in a commitment to social justice, provides services that advance the health, well-being, dignity and empowerment of Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders and other communities experiencing disparities in health, human services and education.
Our Vision: Hope, Opportunity and Voice in 40 Languages.
We envision a world with justice, human rights and equity, where individuals, families and communities can thrive.
ACRS will continuously improve as a trusted organization that is committed to being accountable to the community; to dismantling racism and anti-BIPOC, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-disAbilities, and other forms of oppression, both internally and externally; to stewarding resources responsibly; to maintaining a robust infrastructure capable of sustaining the agency’s work; and to empowering a well-equipped and skilled workforce able to lead and carry out our mission with dignity and respect.
ACRS will work towards this vision by growing a continuum of holistic services that respond to the community’s changing needs and increasing access for all experiencing disparities in health, human services and education. ACRS will lead in delivering culturally competent, culturally safe and linguistically accessible services for the Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander community and other communities, including immigrants, refugees, and American-born.
