ACRS Responds to 2024 Election Outcome
We are here for each other, and together, we find strength in the face of uncertainty. Today, we carry the weight of grief, trauma, and rage as we look toward a new administration, one that may usher in policies that could harm our community. Based on our experiences during the first term, we know the potential for harm is real.
However, we also know the power of our collective strength. We can rely on the solidarity we share—the deep bonds we’ve forged through difficult times and the coalitions we’ve built along the way. These connections will be crucial in protecting those most vulnerable in our community.
What we’ve learned in these challenging years is that we have the capacity to stand together and resist. Through our collective action, we defended democracy, fought to protect our most marginalized, and used every tool at our disposal to push back against harmful federal policies. The work is not over, and while the road ahead may be tough, we are ready to rise once more, just as we have before. The power to protect, resist, and rebuild lies within us, and we will continue to fight for justice and dignity for all.
