Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization working for social justice and offering a broad array of behavioral health programs, human services and civic engagement activities for Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islanders and other communities in King County and beyond. ACRS serves a wide range of Asian and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander communities – immigrants, refugees and American born – in the Pacific Northwest.

Nondiscrimination and Accessibility Rights
Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) does not exclude people or treat them differently because of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex. ACRS complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws and is committed to providing its programs and services without discrimination in accordance with:
- Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, or national origin (including language).
- Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which prohibits discrimination based on disability.
- Title IX of the Educations Amendments Act of 1972, which prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities.
- Age Discrimination Act of 1975, which prohibits discrimination based on age.
- U.S. Department of Homeland Security regulation 6 C.F.R. Part 19, which prohibits discrimination based on religion in social service programs.
Asian Counseling and Referral Service:
Provides free aids, services and use of devices to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us and participate in the services we provide such as:
- Qualified sign language interpreters
- Furnishing mobility aids and other devices for use while in ACRS facilities or attending ACRS events
- Written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, other formats)
Provides free language services to people whose primary language is not English, such as:
- Qualified interpreters
- Information written in other languages
