Donations of food and other items go directly to clients who appreciate help meeting their most basic needs. Upon delivery of any donated items, you will be asked to complete and submit an in-kind donations form, which you may then use for your tax records.
Food, Clothing, Household and Office Equipment
To donate food to the ACRS Food Bank, call 206-292-5714, Tuesdays to Fridays.
Foods Asian Pacific American families especially need are rice, fish,
tofu, soy and oyster sauces, fresh and dried vegetables, Asian noodles,
cooking oil and canned fruit. You may also call this number to donate
clean clothing and functioning home appliances and office equipment. Because
of very limited storage space, donations of large, non-food items may
not be accepted if delivered without prior notification.
To donate personal hygiene and program materials to the New Life Program, call 206-695-5978. Items that the program needs are shampoo, soap, combs/brushes, G- or PG-rated videos, lined notebooks, music, Polaroid film and prizes for games.
Stocks
Call 206-774-2404 to donate stocks to ACRS. Please consult with
your tax advisor on any changes in IRS guidelines that may have occurred
regarding stock donations.
